As the City-state of Bar expanded its border to incorprite other city-states and the territory that surrouned then, the title of the ruler of the King was reformed into Emperor as the City-state of Bar had become the Empire of Bar.

The government of Balan Bar is a Represenitve Republic with an Executive branch headed by a President. A Bicameral Legislativve Branch, with a "Plebeian Council" that holds 300 seats and a "Senate" that hold 100 seats. The Plebeian Council (PC) is dominated by two large party, while both support the current monarchy, the ? party would like to give the monarchy more power then it currently has.
