Blotnia (Soravian: Блотнія; Blotniya, Blotnian: Blotskô) is one of Soravia's five autonomous republics. Blotnia is home to a significant minority of Blotnians, and was created in 1983 during administrative reforms. Blotnia is the only part of the world where Blotnian is a recognised language. The language and culture underwent a revival in the 19th century, but aggressive Soravianisation policies of the 20th century threatened it, having been banned from any official or public use. Since the republic was established, the culture has undergone another revival.
