Field Marshal Francis Karel Gerard markies van Greyffenswerth (born 17 May 1943) is a senior Atmoran Army officer. Since 12 March 2016, he has served as the 14th Chief of the Defence Staf replacing Marshal of the Air Force Mannes van Loevezijn. Before being appointed Chief of the Defence Staff, he was the Chief of the General Staff from May 2003 to March 2016. Greyffenswerth led the Atmoran Armed Forces in the defence during the Winter War against Vozh.
He served as commanding officer of a company in the 3rd Battalion, Princess Winter's Light Infantry.
