The Royal Army of Belhavia, also referred to as the King's Royal Army was the formal army of the Kingdom of Belhavia. It was formed in 1650 by King Eliezer I, and existed until 1715, when it was renamed and reorganized as the Imperial Army in the aftermath of the Great Southern War and the ascension of Belhavia into the realm of global empires.
The Royal Army was a strong cohesive force in its early years under Eliezer I, but fractured during the Decade of Tumult. Between 1698 and 1715, Kings Eliezer III and Moshe I modernized, upgraded, and reorganized the royal force into a competent fighting force, which gained tremendous experience after 1704 on the battle field during the Great Southern War.
After the Proclamation of the First Empire in March 1715, the Royal Army was renamed and transitioned into the Imperial Army, forming the backbone of the Imperial Armed Forces of Belhavia.
