The Lotion Empire, Lotionese Empire, or officially the Empire of Yakuvony and the Lotionese, is a country located in Anea, bordering Kabarovsk, Borgdalen, Mesona, and Verdantia-Galerium. The Lotion Empire spans a combined area of 1,932,096 km2 (1,200,548 sq mi.) and has a population of 133 million. The country is divided into seven subdivisions and four Imperial Cities. The Lotion Empire is a constitutional monarchy that utilizes a parliamentary democracy, with its capital located in Petrograd, its largest city by population being Losogorod, and its largest financial hub being Arkhangelsk. Other major cities include Vatashka, Gorazov, Yakuzat, Severnya, Voromenya, Vidaka, Donescow, Vodastov, Ostrov, Nopozov, and Rekagiri. The Lotion Empire has a temperate transitional climate, mostly covered by plains or forestry. The longest river is the Dlini River, and the highest point is Nebtochka Point, located in the Kushtau mountain range on the eastern border. While named the "Lotionese Empire," the population is mostly divided between sentient Lotionese, Yakuvonians, which compose of Yuraktians, Ostnovans, Nebitans and more.
Before the foundation of the Dominion of Velik Osnova and the establishment of modern Yakuvonian history, the land the Lotionese Empire inhabits was referred to as "Old Yakuvony." Old Yakuvony was a land of lawlessness and barbarism, where tribes often battled amongst one another, where pillaging, raids, and warfare were commonplace. Yet, while kingdoms and various other city-states attempted to restore order in the chaos, they often failed in the rising tide of savagery.
Osnova was one of the kingdoms that attempted to bring order into the brutal lands of Old Yakuvony. While efforts were initially successful in 254 BF (Before Founding), seizing the Lotionese stronghold "Bezopost'," Osnova was almost destroyed in a massive attack in 242 BF that saw most of its holdings sacked and destroyed. While Osnova still survived, clinging onto the last bit of order it could maintain, it weakened, and the tide grew over it. The dark ages of Osnova saw the Kingdom slowly lose its holdings and retreat to the city of Osnova, isolated and trapped by the savages who attempted to siege it but struggled to maintain the tide. To the rest of Old Yakuvony and the few Kingdoms, Osnova was destroyed and yet another sand grain in the glass of history. This, however, was false.
Osnova slowly began to recover by 163 BF, 79 years after the attack that crippled the young Kingdom and the constant attacks by savages, with the reconstruction of the kingdom and frequent warfare with the savages. While Osnova was isolated, the kingdom managed to maintain just enough resources to push on. However, recovery would not last long because, by the Terrible Winter of 86 BF, Osnova was forced to utilize much of its resources and faced the threats of widespread famine. But in 78 BF, because of the failing conditions and the approaching death of the people and the kingdom, the House of Strekozov intervened by seizing control of Osnova from the previous house. Vasiliy Strekozov was the ruler of Osnova, and he accomplished something many failed to do - Establish order over Old Yakuvony.
It began with 75 BF, three years after the rise to power. Vasiliy poured what little resources Osnova had left into a personal Army and decided to strike against one of the tribes that attempted to attack Osnova all those years before - The Yublakovs, which were one of the largest significant tribes of savages in Old Yakuvony, responsible for the deaths of thousands, and led the initial attack into Osnova. Osnovan troops were highly motivated, full of revenge, and had the utmost knowledge that should they fail, they'd be erased into the pages of history. The attack took the Yublakovs by surprise, and the result was a slaughter, leaving very few behind. This attack created safe travel to the kingdom, spreading trade and word of mouth. While the slaughter was nowhere near the worst of the brutality of Old Yakuvony, the attack caused many tribes, bandits, and many others who similarly abused the freedom they had to fear Osnova.
The many kingdoms who longed for order in the brutal lands of a free Old Yakuvony began establishing relations with Vasiliy's Osnova. Many Kingdoms would swear their allegiance to him in return for the safety and protection Osnova could provide and remaining rulership over the land they inhabited. The few that refused were eventually absorbed. By 42 BF, Vasiliy began a long conquest, leading Osnovan troops to invade and take over many of the tribes and spread into the uninhabited lands of Old Yakuvony. There'd even be cases of tribes surrendering without drawing a single weapon or bandits surrendering themselves to avoid the grim fate before them. Unfortunately, Vasiliy would never witness the empire he'd eventually create. His son, Radek, would finish the conquest, subjugating Old Yakuvony and creating the Dominion of Osnova.
The Dominion of Osnova would be the birth of a prosperous time within Yakuvony, as a rebirth of Yakuvonian life began. Civilization was reformed entirely from the bottom up, and all aspects of life in every part of Osnova would follow the rules and traditions that Osnova had followed before. New laws were established, new houses were raised, more art and writing were widespread, Orthodox was accepted as the national religion, trade was plentiful, cities were established, and Osnova continued to expand east, satisfying the urge to conquer. Prosperity was felt, and the Golden Age of Osnova would last for decades, ending only in 1258, when the House of Strekozov finally ended, with no proper heir to inherit the throne, which would begin the Osnovan Crisis, where a regency would be raised, in an attempt to quell the instability throughout the Dominion, and within its very own structure. While eventually, the House of Nostrova would succeed the House of Strekozov and take control of the Dominion, the damage throughout the crisis laid the ambitions of the Dominion to rest, ensuring that the expansionist mindset would be laid dormant until the next Empire within Yakuvony.
The Dominion would take an isolationist approach, focusing on creating and expanding infrastructure, paving new roads, and maintaining existing relations. While the crisis was a stab to the Dominion, many hoped for a better future and continuing its direction. However, this would not happen.
The Lotionese during this time populated much of South Yakuvony and the lower parts of the Kushtau Mountain Range. They differentiated greatly from their modern counterparts, where instead of taking the more prominent shape of a bottle, their physical shape would be more "goo-like" and (cont.)
Before 1462, the area surrounding the present location of Losogorod was home to various Lotionese principalities alongside the southern parts of the present Lotionese Empire. In 1156, the Dominion subjugated the region and stripped any and all control from the Lotionese, both politically and socially. This extensive tyranny led to most Lotionese leaving the south of Yakuvony and retreating to the Kushtau Mountain Range, or the present city of Gorazov. The few that remained in the south hid in the forests and off the road, constantly fighting against Osnovan troops despite the overwhelming odds. During the crisis, the rebellions ramped up, with some Lotionese even managing to seize small towns and villages. While they would eventually retreat against an overwhelming force, the harsh drums of rebellion kept beating. In 1462, the constant rebellions reached a tipping point, where finally, the Emperor of Osnova and the leader of the rebellions would meet to discuss the end of the centuries-wide rebellion. In a stunning moment that shocked the entirety of Yakuvony - the Emperor budged. And allowed a Lotionese state's independence around the present-day Losogorod region, the ceasure of any Lotionese "hunting" to end any incursions or rebellions by the Lotionese.

In 1926, many areas of Yakuvony fell into total anarchy, and the Yakuvonian government was forced to flee to Arkhangelsk. Those areas became known as the "Zone" or "Zone of Conflict," where many factions, independent states, and banditry formed in the chaotic collapse. Two major states emerged from the Zone: the People's Republic of Yakuvony and the Lotionese Authority, which later became the Lotionese Empire. During the 40s, the Lotionese Authority, the Republic of Yakuvony, and the People's Republic of Yakuvony existed in a state of rebuilding and reorganization in their vision. This period was known as the Short Peace, which would end by 1951, with the beginning of the War of the Three Nations. During the latter half of the conflict, the Tsar of the Lotionese Authority proclaimed a promise to the citizens under the Lotionese Authority that the absolute control the monarchy held would be dismantled in favor of a constitutional monarchy after the war ended in 1974. The Lotionese Authority defeated the People's Republic and the Republic of Yakuvony a year later. In 1975, the Lotionese Empire was proclaimed, and a constitution was drafted in 1976, giving up much of the monarchy's prior control.
With the transition to a constitutional monarchy, the first election was organized and began in 1976, ending in a victory for the [PARTY NAME].
