=Overview=
The Ahranaian Directorate of Intelligence, or simply known as the ADI, is the most senior Intelligence Service in the Federation having most of the resources an Intelligence Agency would need. The ADI gets most of its Special Agents and Operatives from the Military while the Majority of the Office Staff are Government Employees and former Military Personnel. The Special Agents and Operatives of the ADI are the most Elite and most trained Personal in the Federation and if not the World, they uphold a Code that has and was created on its founding and it has yet to be broken, it has been said by many former Agents and Operatives that there is a saying that goes "Once in Intelligence its a Commitment and Lifelong". The ADI is the main Intelligence Agency in the Federations Ministry of Internal Affairs that deals with Terroristic Threats and any Threats that will cause Harm to the Entire Government at the Federal, Republican and Local Levels. The ADI looks after the interests of the Federation at home, oversees and even for the allies of the Federation.

=Organization=
The Ahranaian Directorate of Intelligence or the ADI is the Intelligence Agency of Ahrana, tasked with Domestic, Foreign and Signal Intelligence and protecting national security.
The ADI is the only Agency that has it owns Independence from the entire Federal Executive Ministry in its own right, however it still has a Minister over it at the Federal Legislative level but on the Executive and Judiciary Levels it is its own branch with its own Independent Council and Structure compared to the rest of the Ministries. Unlike most Ministries the ADI is headed by a Directorate Chief that answers only to the Federal President and works with the Federal Police of the Federation which the Directorate Chief in ways is the Police Commissioner of the Federal Police Force.

The predecessor of the ADI before 1912 was the Ahranaian Security Service that acted as the Police and Intelligence Services for the realm of the Second United Kingdom which was created in 1825 by Royal Decree, that decree merged the then Royal Constabulary with a new Security Service that was to be called the Ahranaian Security Service. The Security Service became associated with corruption and scandal's that in 1910 the Security Service was abolished and the Military Intelligence Agency took over all Intelligence related roles with the Police taking all Security roles. In 1912 by a new Royal Decree the Ahranaian Directorate of Intelligence was created, upon its creation several Security Acts were passed by the Government to insure the ADI stayed in line with its responsibilities and roles as well as the Law.

The Ahranaian Directorate of Intelligence is the Senior Intelligence Agency and the sole Intelligence Agency inside the Ahranaian Government and Boarders itself. The ADI or simply the Directorate operates Intelligence Residents in each Ahranaian Embassy, and Operates Several Individule Directorate Offices on Ahranaian Soil. The Main Directorate or the Parent Directorate gives all orders to all other Directorates and oversees the entire operation of the whole Agency. The current list of Directorates and Sub-Directorates are all operational including the ones that were under the Ahranaian Security Service.
=Mission=
The Mission of the ADI focuses mostly on domestic non-military threats to Ahranaian national security as well as having a major role in the Military intelligence Services as well due to the nature and structure of the ADI. The ADI is charged with collecting intelligence and assisting in combating domestic and foreign threats to national security.

The Ministry of the Interior has Oversight into all Activities of the ADI as well as the Federal Police to which the Minister of the Interior coordinated with the Director-General of the ADI as well as with the Federal Police Commissioner. Oversight is provided by three committees:
* 3rd Directorate- Joint Military Counter Intelligence Corps
* A Review Board called the Board of Intelligence and Security, appointed from the Parliamentary Committee of Internal Affairs
* 6th Directorate- Covert Surveillance Corps
* A Oversight Committee called the Intelligence and Security Oversight Committee, appointed from the Parliamentary of Internal Affairs

* 17th Directorate- Foregin Intelligence Operations
* 18th Directorate- National Security Service
* Directorate DE- Drug Enforcement and Drug Control Corps
* Directorate P- Royal Police of Ahrana

The ADI is split into other Directorate know as Sub-Directorates or known by their Number and or letter relating to their Directorate, out of the twenty Directorates today only two remain from the original founding of the ADI, 1st & 2nd Directorates are the two most senior Directorates inside the ADI and still hold the Highest Security Clearance inside the Federal and Republican Government(s).
The ADI publishes an annual report which includes its budget. The published version contains redactions where information is deemed sensitive.

==1st Directorate==
The ADI can be forced by the courts to publish any records held on a private citizen, but it may keep secret information that is relevant to current cases. No information that is less than five years old will be provided under any circumstance to private citizens about their records.
The First Directorate is one of the first established Sub-Agencies to be established in the ADI upon its founding, the First Directorate is responsible for Counter Intelligence inside the Ahranaian Federation and Embassies abroad in the name of Ahrana. Not much is released to the Public about the First Directorate other than it is one of the Highest Level in both Seniority and Clearance in the Government next to the Office of Federal President of Ahrana.

The First Directorate has a Main Directorate Office in Moskovo, then with Offices in the Member Republics inside the Federation. As well with Offices inside the Federation there are offices in the Embassies and Consulate.
=Areas of Responsibility=
* Counter-Espionage:  preventing and detecting espionage and other unlawful intelligence activities; targeting Ahrana, its national interests abroad, and also foreign interests and refugees within the borders of Ahrana.
* Counter-Subversion: to counter illegal subversive activities (e.g. violence, threats and harassment targeting elected representatives, public officials and journalists) intended to affect policy-making and implementation, or prevent citizens from exercising their constitutional rights and freedoms.
* Counter-Terrorism: preventing and detecting terrorism; this includes acts of terrorism directed against Ahrana or foreign interests within the borders of Ahrana, as well as terrorism in other countries and the financing and support of terrorist organizations in Ahrana.
* Dignitary Protection: providing security and close protection officers at state visits, to senior public officials (e.g. the Speaker of the Parliament, Chancellor, members of the Parliament and the Government, including State Secretaries and the Cabinet Secretary), the Royal Family, and foreign diplomatic representatives.
* protective Security: providing advice, analysis and oversight to companies and government agencies of importance to national security, in addition to background checks.

==2nd Directorate==
=Organization=
The Second Directorate is the Second Agency and the last Agency from the original founding to have remained its own separate Directorate inside the ADI. The Naval Counter Intelligence Corps or just Naval Intelligence, is responsible for all Intelligence gathered by the Navy and any Intelligence Operations the Navy runs. Some of the Special Forces Intelligence is joined with the Second Directorate due to the Seniority level and sometimes because of the severity of importance of the Operation being carried out. Given that the Second Directorate is the second most senior of all directorates and one of the last original the directorate enjoys a high level of Security Clearance like the first directorate.
In 2017 the ADI became the sole Security and Intelligence Agency outside the military of Ahrana, neither the Government nor individual ministers have the right to influence how an agency decide in a particular case or on the application of legislation. This also applies to the Security Service, which instead is governed by general policy instruments. What sets the Security Service apart from other agencies is that most directives guiding the Service are classified on the grounds of national security, along with the bulk of the reports it produces. The Service is led by a Director-General, Alexandria M. L. Core Former President of Ahrana, who is titled as either Director-General or Head of the ADI and Security Services. Operations are led by a Chief Operating Officer, reporting directly the Head of the Security Service. He is in turn assisted by a Deputy Chief Operating Officer and an Office for Operations. The Service is organized into four departments and a secretariat, each led by a Head of Department.

=Royal Police=
The ADI has a Directorate that is seen as separate from the whole Organization, the Royal Police Force or Directorate P. The Royal Police are a separate Directorate but under the ADI due to the Political Nature of the ADI and the Federal Government. The Police are the Federal Level Police Force of the whole country that have Offices in every local City and township. As well with being the Federal Police Force the Royal Police have allowed the Regional Kingdoms and Dukedoms to create Regional Police Forces but these Offices are also under Directorate P and the ADI.
The Royal Police will make an oath to protect the People, Law and the Nation and upmost the Monarchs who represent the Nation.
