The Aitic Federation (Poicarian: Aitilaiset Liittovaltio), also known as Poicary (Poicarian: Poikka), is a transcontinental country spanning eastern Patyria and northern Oridia. It is ruled by the Federal Assembly of the Aitic Federation and the President of the Aitic Federation. The Aitic Federation is the largest country in Vasarden by land area, and the fifth largest country by population, after Bhasar, Zaihan, Vonzumier and Hevatia. The Aitic Federation is separated into Federal Districts, of which there are twenty, the largest of which, is the Central District, home to the capital of Sakiarvy.
The Aitic Federation is one of the most ethnically diverse nations in Vasarden, with hundreds of disparate ethnic groups within its borders, the largest of which is the Poicarians. The Aitic Federation has adopted a position of pan-Aitic unity, and fosters a sense of brotherhood between the Aitic ethnicities within and outside its borders.
Until 1984, the Aitic Federation was one of the few communist countries remaining in Vasarden after the Great War (Vasarden), and is a founding member of the Zonnehof Pact and retains good relations with both Bhasar and Hevatia despite the democratisation of the country.
