Akkin Gunaydin OMCA OMCA (born 23 July 1941) is an Alcarresean politician, jurist, academic and lawyer, who is serving as the 12th and current President of Alcarres since February 2015.

Akkin Gunaydin was previously Minister of Defence from 1999 to 2001 and the Ambassador to the Coalition of Crown Albatross from 2002 to 2010. In 2011, he became an elected judge on the Constitutional Court. On 31 January 2015, he was elected by the Parliament of Alcarres to serve as President of the Alcarres Confederacy.

In November of 2020, he was credited with being instrumental in ending the Tarijar Strait Crisis by travelling to Zakaraban, Zalluabed, and convincing King Farik al-Jamura and President Zayyaan al-Akhtar to withdraw the Royal Zalluabed Navy from the Tarijar Strait following the boarding of Albarinean vessels.
