There are many varieties of beer, wine and liquor throughout Esquarium.

Alcohol consumption by country

Annual consumption, liters per capita (2014)
Country Beer Wine Liquor
 Katranjiev 9.5 10.7 4.0
 Luziyca 9.7 3.4 6.4
 Montecara 12.8 25.1 11.9
 Xiaodong 9.5 2.1 21.3

Luziyca

The minimum legal age to have alcohol is 21 years of age, excluding wine: Christians are eligible to drink wine (though not purchase) after First Communion.

Light beers are the most popular alcoholic drink in the country, followed by lagers, white wine, and vodka.

Montecara

There is no "drinking age" per se in Montecara. Children of all ages are allowed to drink alcohol given by their parents or guardians, and may order alcohol themselves with a meal starting at age 16. The legal age for off-premises purchase is 18. Montecara has high rates of alcohol consumption, which is partly a function of its wealth and partly due to a long tradition of importing large quantities of alcohol from abroad in trade. Fortified wines are particularly popular given their ability to travel well. The popularity of imported, well-hopped cask ales served in bìrrerias is also a legacy of the sea trade.

Nunalik

Alcohol consumption is very common in Nunalik, as the harsh winters and low career advancement possibility leave many requiring an escape method. While in pre-contact times the Aalaaniaq were known to ferment musk ox milk and mare's milk, this was on a limited scale and usually for religious use only. The arrival of the Ostrovans from Razaria brought with it the practice of making rakija and vodka, which became extremely popular amongst the Aalaaniaq. While local production of such spirits is limited by the dearth of agricultural land to grow grains to make them, they are often imported from Razaria and other nations. Traditional Tuthinan liqueurs were less popular, as the cost of importing them was too much. The minimum age of purchase for alcohol is 19, while consumption of alcohol in public is legal after 16 with parental supervision and 10 in private places, again with supervison.

Sjealand

The minimum legal age for purchasing alcohol in Sjealand is 16, however there is no restriction on the consumption of alcohol in Sjealand, as restricting alcohol is seen as a private matter. The age Sjealandians begin to drink is 13,6. The most common drink by volume consumed is beer, especially the pilsner variant, with Snaps and Akvavit being the most popular liquors, sharply followed by Pisang Ambon. The youth of Sjealands are amongst the heaviest drinkers in the world, with alcohol consumption falling with age. The average Sjealandian consimes 12.3 litres of pure alcohol per year.

Wosrac

The minimum age for purchasing alcohol in Wosrac unsupervised is 16. However, taverns are allowed to serve up to 3 pints of anything under 6% to 14 and 15 year olds supervised by parents or an older sibling.

Xiaodong

The minimum legal age to purchase any alcoholic beverage is 21 years of age. Shaojiu (白酒) is the most popular alcoholic beverage followed by various beers.
