Anastasia Mills-Olson (born March 23, 1971), also known by her initials AMO and by her Catica First Nations name Anaiaas, is a Zamastanian activist and politician currently serving as Senator for Zian's 7th senatorial district. Elected as a member of the Green Liberal Party, she was a registered independent until 2019. Mills-Olson's mother is a Adulan-Zamastanian and her father is a descendant of the Tsawanuktach peoples, which are part of the Catica First Nations tribes. As such, Anastasia carries the Tsawanuktach name Anaiaas which roughly translates to "woman born to noble people". Her parents divorced when AMO was a small child and she was raised by her mother in Tofino, where she studied political science and history. As an activist, AMO has spoken publicly on such topics as aboriginal law, treaties, the environment, financial transparency, good governance and reconciliation.
