History

Arianna was founded by the Hestia Familia in 703 a mile from the Hestia Familia estate. The city was founded as a hub for merchants, explorers, and exiles. While the city was located in a dangerous part of the Albarine Sea Hestia’s family prestige and the city's openness and neutrality kept it safe from raiders and pirates. Arianna was home to many explorers and often used as a homeport for traders in the region. This brought money into the city and its willingness to accept those of lower class built a stable market for them. While lower-class citizens worked on the docks merchants and explorers brought in valuables that piqued the interest of many wealthy Timerians.

The city began to gain increased fame as the Hestia Familia would host their Banquet of the Gods, celebrating the deities of the Sky Faith. While the city flourished the rest of Leo Isles began to feel the impact of the city as it drained its people and influenced the greater region.

Geography

Arianna is located on the southern coast of Melirane Island, the largest island in the Leo Isles archipelago. The city's topography is characterized by gentle hills and low-lying coastal plains, offering residents and visitors panoramic views of the surrounding Albarine Sea. To the west of Arianna, lush rainforests adorn the landscape.

Climate
