The Armed Forces of Aventhia, also known as AFA are the military forces of the Federal Union of Aventhia. Officially created in May 1941 as the de facto military force after the nation's independence from Futrellia. The president of Aventhia is the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces and forms military policy with the Department of Defense, a federal executive department acting as the principal organ by which military policy is carried out. The AVA consists of the Army, Navy and Air Force, and the headquarters of the AFA is located in Bellux.

Military service in the AVA is voluntary since 1978, as the AVA maintains a strong number of uniformed and civilian personnel often deployed for humanitarian, peacekeeping and disaster-relief operations across the globe.
