The Atomic Energy Commission (AEC) is an international organization that works to promote the peaceful use of nuclear energy by nations. It aims to inhibit the use of nuclear technologies for any military purpose, namely the use of nuclear weapons. The AEC was established as an independent organization on 31 May 1959 after a series of successful tests by the worlds emerging nuclear powers. While it is officially independent, the AEC maintains an affiliation with the Community of Nations. The AEC's reports are issued to both the International Assembly and the Security Committee.

The AEC works to facilitate scientific and technical co-operation between nations as they use both nuclear technology and nuclear power in peaceful ways. AEC programs encourage governments to develop peaceful applications of these technologies while also working to promote nuclear safety. It provides governments with assistance in establish nuclear safety and security standards and assists in their implementation.  

The organization has its headquarters in Spálgleann, Caldia. It also maintains two regional officials which are located in Keisi, Senria and Gatôn, Satucin. It also has a liaison office in Kesselbourg City, Kesselbourg that works closely with the CN. Its current director general is Eduard Zayika, a Chistovodian diplomat, who has held the post since 2016.
