Behringen is a city, located in northeastern Besmenia. It is the capital of the Besmenian federal state of Metakumburg, and with a population of 607,937 thousands, the biggest city in Metakumburg and the eleventh largest city in Besmenia.
As the seat of the state government of Metakumburg and the State Chamber of Metakumburg as well as numerous state authorities, the city is the political center of Metakumburg. In addition, important educational and cultural institutions of the federal state are concentrated here.
