Alexandria-Prussia Department of Community and Housing Development (DCHD) is a cabinet level department responsible for developing communities and their economic potential, implementing housing policy that promotes and preserves homeownership and creating innovative community development initiatives. DCHD invests more than $100 million each year into communities and housing development projects throughout the country- the majority of which are designed to help low- to moderate-income citizens. By partnering with local governments, nonprofit groups, and other central agencies, DCHD is working to improve the quality of life for Alexandrian-Prussians.
