Eskamar I (12 June 1553-16 April 1618) was a Cadenzan nobleman and, from 1611 to his death in 1618, the Duke of Cadenza. He succeeded his father, Tafarad ti'Als-Arnan, as Earl of Lema in 1596. In the latter years of Eskamar's reign, his earldom of Lemithri became embroiled in a feud with neighbouring Roakkon, then ruled by Edund II, over ownership of the town of Siyaltani. Eskamar led Cadenza during the War of the Magpie and the Dragon and was responsible for Tariq Kimepra's expedition to Kamalbia. Eskamar was killed in action during the war, when his flagship, the Lamauha, was sunk in the Battle of St. Andrew's Point.
