The Imperial Marine Corps (Iravian: Keizerlijke Marinier Korps KMK) (IMC) is a branch of the Atmoran Armed Forces responsible for conducting land-based expeditionary combat operations, using the mobility provided by the Imperial Atmoran Space Command to rapidly deliver forces. Marines are also charged with the defense of Space Command vessels and installations from hostile forces. While structured under the Unified Ground Command, the Imperial Marine Corps operates closely with the Fleet Command and has some authority within the office. The Marine Corps is one of the five branches of the Atmoran Armed Forces.
