Liberty is a modular space station operating in low Anteria orbit and launched in 1996. Originally operated by Foxomexra, Liberty was assembled in orbit from 1996 to 2005. The station serves as a microgravity research laboratory in which scientific experiments are conducted relating to biology, physics, astronomy, meteorology, spacecraft systems, and various other fields with the goal of gaining a better understanding of the technology and techniques necessary for establishing a permanent presence in space. Shortly after the founding of the South Anterian Defense Alliance (SADA), the government of Foxomexra began allowing other members of the alliance to participate in the regular functioning of the station. In conjunction with the Bundes Satellitennavigationssystem (BSNS), Liberty serves as part of the joint SADA mission in space.
