The Mahana National Football Team, commonly referred to as the Blue Coats, represents Mahana in UENA national competition. A member of the Europan Continental Football Association, the Blue Coats play their home games at the Jutpandi Building Society Arena in Jutpandi.

History

Early History

The first ever recorded game in Mahana was against Kotowari, on 18 November 1902. The game (which was the first international for both sides) was held in Kotowari City and Mahana lost 5-2. During the first years of its existence, the Mahanan national team only played friendly matches against other Oriental teams. The reasons for this varied, however it was mostly due to high cost in travelling further which wasn't being supported by ticket sales at the time.

Da Nilō Kōṭa (The Blue Coats), also known as Rāṣṭriya chanōṭa (The National Selection), has appeared in 3 world cup finals, including their first final in 1954, which they lost 4-2 to $nation.
