The Police Services of South Dniester is the Militsiya or National Police of South Dniester that is a member of the Ahranaian Federal Police Services System across the United Kingdom of Ahrana that polices their respected territories assigned. In South Dniester, the Militsiya has the task of policing the entire territory of South Dniester through the Policing Acts passed by the Federal Parliament in Moskova and in the Regional Parliament in Minsk.

History

Organization

The Militsiya of the United Provinces of South Dniester is headed by the Regional Office out of Minsk, the Regional Capital, with the Regional Militsiya Deputy Commissioner heading the entire Policing Force. The head of the entire police force is the Federal Police Commissioner stationed in the Federal Capital, Moskovo, at the Federal Police Headquarters. The Deputy Commissioner along with the other Regional Deputy Commissioners report to the Federal Police Commissioner on a monthly basis or otherwise when directed.

The Militsiya also is under both the Regional Ministry of Justice when in matters of Regional Jurisdiction and the Federal Ministry of Justice when in matters of Federal Jurisdiction. The Regional Minister of Justice appoints a Regional Procurator or Attorney General for all matters when the regional laws have been violated, and the Federal Procurator handles all matters when Federal Laws have been violated. At times the Federal will trump the regional jurisdiction due to the Constitution giving way to the Federal Law over Regional Law.

Organizational Structure

The Head of the Militsiya is the Deputy Commissioner of the Militsiya of the United Provinces of South Dniester. The structure after the Deputy Commissioner is similar to the Federal Police Services Structure with the highest rank achievable being the Deputy Commissioner.

Special Divisions

The Militsiya of the Untied Provinces of South Dniester has three Special Divisions within its structure. The first Special Division is the Drug Crime Division which handles all drug charges and investigations that come into the departments through their provisional offices. The second special division is the Serious Crime Unit that handles all Murders even if they involve Drugs, the first and second division work hand and hand on this type of investigation. The third special division is the Protection Unit which is responsible with working with the Federal Protection Services in ensuring the Regional and Federal Government Leaders have adequate protection where needed.

Oversight

The Militsiya of South Dniester has two oversight committees one federal and one regional. While the Federal Police Acts passed by the Federal Parliament affects all Law Enforcement Offices operating inside the Border of the United Kingdom of Ahrana, the Regional Parliament of South Dniester has its own Policing Policies and Committees that have an oversight role to play within the Militsiya.

The AC-01 Unit that deals with Corruption within the Federal Police Services of Ahrana, the Militsiya has a special office for Anit-Corruption from the AC-01 Unit inside all of its Provincial Offices due to the past history of Corruption on the Policing Force.
