In many countries in Esquarium, a person is required to take an oath of office prior to undertaking the duties of an office. Under the law of countries where taking the oath is required of people who are about to take public office, betraying the oath may be considered treasonous and results in severe repercussions.

Coronation oath

During the coronation of the monarch of Katranjiev, the monarch is required to say the following oath in Katranjian to become the monarch:

English: I, [name], vow to do my duty as King/Queen of the Katranjiev.

Prime Ministerial oath

It is required to be sworn by all Prime Ministers. It can be sworn in any of the official languages.

Parliamentarian oath

All Parliamentarians must when taking office swear the oath in any of the official languages since 1989.

Military oath

All enlisted soldiers are required to swear the oath since 1989. It can be in any of the official languages.

Oath of citizenship

New citizens of Katranjiev are mandated to swear the oath in one of the official languages.

English: I swear to Her Majesty, Elis, to her heirs, and to her country upon which she governs with a benevolent hand.

Montecara

Oath of Citizenship

Aspiring new citizens take the Oath of Citizenship as the last step in the naturalization process. The oath may also be taken as a solemn promise. The oath (or promise) is:

I swear (or solemnly promise) that, as a citizen of Montecara, I will for the rest of my life give her my sole allegiance, uphold her constitution as a republic, obey her laws, bear arms in her defense, serve her in civil office when called upon, and honor my fellow citizens. I renounce all other states and royal or noble houses to which I have previously been subject, and I take this oath (or solemn promise) truthfully and freely.

Namor

In Namor, it is common for oaths of office to begin with the phrase "In the name of the revolution (Га комин но минйиша)," which is derived from the Liberationists after taking power in the Namorese Civil War and is still recited before certain speeches and newscasts.

President-General

Prior to taking office, President-General of the People's Republic of Namor is required by law to take the Oath of Office. Under normal circumstances, the President-General takes the oath on Inauguration Day in front of the deputies of the Central Council. The oath has been taken by every President-General of the PRN since Yunglang Antelope. If one refuses to take the oath, one is prevented from becoming President-General and banned from taking any other public office for the remainder of one's life.

English: In the name of the revolution, I, (name), do solemnly swear to uphold the Constitution of the People's Republic, execute my duties as head of state, safeguard the revolution, serve the people and defend the dignity and sovereignty of the Namorese nation.

Vice President and Deputies of the Central Council

The Vice President is sworn in after the President-General is. The oath of office for the Vice President is the same as that for all elected deputies of the Central Council. The oath must be performed in Namorese.

English: In the name of the revolution, I, (name), do solemnly swear to uphold the Constitution of the People's Republic and execute my duties in accordance with the Constitution of the People's Republic.

Namorese: Га комин но минйиша, бенджин _______, санси соджун Имингукасенфа, янзе Имингукасенфа чисин йиву.

Supreme People's Court Justices

The oath of office for one about to undertake the duties of Justice of the Supreme People's Court (SPC) is as follows:

English: In the name of the revolution, I, (name), do solemnly swear to uphold the Constitution of the People's Republic and respect the rule by law in this country.

Namorese: Га комин но минйиша, бенджин _______, санси соджун Имингукасенфа, соджун гука фаджик.

Executive of Antelopia

The Executive of Antelopia AR is required to perform the following oath before taking office:

English: In the name of the revolution, I, (name), do solemnly swear to uphold the Constitution of the People's Republic and the Regional Constitution of Antelopia, serve my people and preserve unity. Long live the people!

Antelopian: 冲𠸛𧶮局革命, _____ 誓底唯墀宪法𧶮渃共和人民吧宪法區域 𧶮伶佯, 伕務人民𧶮碎, 吧𡨹吲事团結. 𤯩𥹰𠊛!

It is custom for all members of the Regional Assembly (to whom the sworn-in Executive performs the oath) shout Sống lâu người (𤯩𥹰𠊛), or "long live the people" after the Executive completes the oath.

Xiaodong

Chairperson of the State Presidium

The Constitution of Xiaodong requires the Chairperson of the State Presidium to recite the following oath before taking office:

By assuming the duties required of the office of Chairperson of the State Presidium of the Auspicious Republic of Xiaodong, I (name) do solemnly swear to uphold the constitution and perform my duties honestly, to the best of my ability and always in the interests of the sovereignty, National Principlism, and for the prosperity and safety of the Xiaodongese nation.

Council of Ministers

Upon taking office, by convention each member of the Council of Ministers of Xiaodong must recite an oath following their confirmation in the office, in order of precedence (eg. the First Minister is first in the precedence):

By the confidence of sovereignty and the State Presidium, I, (name), pledge myself as the (order of precedence) of the Council of Ministers to bear allegiance to the Auspicious Republic of Xiaodong, its constitution and its laws and to serve the nation faithfully and to comply with the decisions of the State Presidium and the Xiaodongese nation.

Presidium Delegates

Upon the opening of the State Presidium of Xiaodong presidium delegates must take an oath before being confirmed as a delegate:

By the confidence of the sovereignty of the Auspicious Republic, I, (name), pledge myself as a servant of the Xiaodongese nation to bear allegiance to the Auspicious Republic of Xiaodong, its constitution and its laws and to serve the nation faithfully and to comply with the will of the Xiaodongese nation
