Oftbon is the largest city in Elbresia, with a population of 6,629,000. It is also the most populous city in Nortua, followed by Amstelvoort and Laitstadt. It serves as a major economic and cultural hub for the nation of Elbresia and the Alliance of Nortuan States. The Oftbon International Business Center is one of the largest financial centres in the world, and features some of Nortua's tallest skyscrapers. It is located on the western coast of Oertor Island, Elbresia's most populated island which also contains the capital of Allengin. It sits on the coast of the inlet which leads into the Olympic Ocean, which allows Oftbon to serve as a major port.

Oftbon is a hub for rail, road and air traffic, and is sometimes considered, together with Allengin, as the geographic, economic and cultural entrance of Nortua. The Mont-Cliffes Bridge connects Oftbon (and further Oertor Island) to the mainland continent, along with numerous ferry routes and the Chelsea-Immes tunnel, which is the longest underwater tunnel in the world. Oftbon is known for its cuisine and gastronomic offer (including its local waffle, its chocolate, its fries and its numerous types of beers), as well as its historical and architectural landmarks. Main attractions include its historic Grand Palace, Sky Park, the Minus Plot, and cultural institutions such as the Oftbon Museums of Art and History.
