The Principality of Trasethaffen is a principality of PyeMcGowan known for the ports of Riversea and Sneeuwhaven, some of the largest in the nation, and its capital Trasethaffen City. The Principality was originally settled as a prominently agricultural region with only a few thousand residents, but in 1543, the PyeMcGowian government, with its vast gold reserves, struck a deal with the Variotans. They would supply PyeMcGowan with ships, shipbuilders and weaponry, in return for gold. These Variotans settled in the area known as Kaltestadt, and as the Variotan Culture And Language spread across the area, the Principality of Trasethaffen was incorporated by the PyeMcGowian King. The first major settlement by the Variotans was in the natural harbour of Waterson Flats, renamed Sterrenbaai as Trasethaffen City was being built. Today the Principality has a major shipping industry with the Mercator Group’s largest office building based in the city’s downtown district.
