The Revolutionary League of the Nation (French reformed: Ligue révolutionnaire d'l'nation), abbreviated RLN (LRN), is a Gylian political party, part of the Front for Renewal of Order and Society bloc.

History

It was established in 1973, taking the place of the dissolved Party for National Mobilisation in the Front for Renewal of Order and Society.

It was a negligible presence in Gylian politics, doing poorly at the ballot box and regularly coming into conflict with Elections Gylias, which disqualified many of its candidates and banned its PPBs for discriminatory, hateful, or anti-constitutional content.

The wretched decade saw the FROS' profile rise, aided by a charismatic leader and a backlash against the Revolutionary Rally. Moderating its extremist image and relying on "dog whistling" rhetoric, its support rose in elections, and its peak in the 1985 federal election caused alarm in Gylian society.

The Filomena Pinheiro government's crackdown on extremism destroyed the party as a political force. It lost all its seats in the 1990 federal election, and has not held any office since.

Ideology

The RLN represents the national communist formation of the FROS.

Symbols

The RLN uses a dark shade of brown as its official colour.
