History

The Royal Madinat Al-Islam Infantry first saw action during the Pacification of Libya (Libyan side) and was later involved in World War Two (on the allied side), Baluchistan Insurgency (Pakistani side), Korean War, Former Yugoslavia Conflict (Bosnian side), Kurdish-Turkish conflict (Turkish side) and Sharifistani Israeli-Wars

training

Their training is 8 weeks longer than for regular infantry regiments, half of this extra training is devoted to expertise in their specialisation whilst the other half is devoted to drill and ceremony (such as parades)

culture

Troops of the regiment are known for their discipline and good behaviour as well as their valour and are mostly recruited from military families. Officers are also known for their valour but also have a reputation as womanisers. The officers of the Royal Madinat Al-Islam are known for being upper-class and many royals have had officer ranks in this regiment.
