Sheah (Ghaillish: Sídhe) is one of three cultural regions in Lorcania. It is comprised of five states; Abhainn, Cait Nua, Ealaghleann, Mhuire and Na Naoimh. It is the cultural region of Lorcania where the Ghaillish language is most prominent. It borders the state of Ardmont to the north, the state of Lycoming to the east, and the sovereign state of Nuxica to the south. It is bounded by the Vehemens Ocean to the west. Na Naoimh, the capital of the state of the same name, is the largest city in the region.

The Sheahan coast was first navigated by Assim Asteris in 1488, but the first significant permanent colony - Ealaghleann - would not be founded until more than a century later, in 1589. Over the next century, the Caldish colony would come under the control of the Gaullican Empire, but would not lose it's distinctly Ghaillish character. Gaullican rule would come to be resented by the largely Amendist population - oustide of the predominantly-Catholic Mhuire - and would subsequantly result in the 1764 Kindalk Massacre.

Following the Asterian War for Independence, the states of Sheah would unite with their neighbours in New Estmere to form the Union of Lorcania in 1771, united by their shared values of religious freedom. Throughout the 1800s, Sheah would contribute greatly to the welfare of the nation as a whole. During the Interior Wars, Sheahan soldiers and colonists would prove instrumental in establishing Lorcanian control over the Eastern Territory. During the Asterian theatre of the Great War, the southern reaches of Sheah would be occupied by Mariranan and Entente forces, though the nation would ultimately triumph in the conflict.

In the modern day, Sheah persists as a geographically diverse though culturally united region within the Union. The Ghaillish language has maintained its historical prominence, and remains the first language of most denizens. The region is diverse, combining rugged rural areas with dense inner-city streets, and conservative villages and suburbs with socialist cities and mining towns.
