Kaptan-Sipahi Khalid Suleiman Ali Effendi is a Sharifistani military commander, veteran and former mercenary who is the leader of Al-Saqoor, the son of "Mad Mehmet" Effendi and a recipient of the Nişan De Onur

Early life and education

Born in Madinat Al-Islam Old Town, Khalid Suleiman Ali Effendi was named after his grandfather. He was educated at the Sharifistani School of Fencing and then the University of Jordan before joining the Royal Sharifistani Army University to train as an infantry officer.

military service

He joined the Royal Madinat Al-Islam Infantry in 2017, serving in Syria and Kashmir. He won the Distinguished Gallantry Medal for his actions against DAESH and was well-respected by his commanding officer, his comrades and the men under his command.

Mercenary

He had a stint as a mercenary in his father's company after his Army service, fighting in the Insaanistan Civil War. His actions against communist rebels (combined with his earlier military work) lead to him receiving the Nişan De Onur.

Founding of Al-Saqoor

He founded Al-Saqoor during the Insaanistan Civil War to mobilise Sharifistani men to fight for the Islamic Republic of Insaanistan against other claimed governments and foreign invaders.
