The People's Republic of South Kandson, most commonly known as South Kandson, is a nation in the Coalition of Crown Albatross located on the continent of Euronia, bordered by North Kandson, Tyrtha, Astremil, and Lissatha. It has a population of 6.7 million people, with the capital and largest city being Ilacester. Other major cities include Ertonset, Powehaven, and Bastowe. The country has a hemiboreal climate and is administratively divided into 4 regions.

Between the medieval period and the 20th century, different states at various times controlled the lands of modern-day South Kandson, including the Parabocan empire, Slavic Union, and the Saterocian kingdoms. It was unified under one nation in 1299, and remained so until directly after the World War when it was torn into civil war in 1961, with the south aiming to steer the country into a communist republic supported by the UCSS and SU, and the north aiming to split away and maintain capitalism supported by Zamastan. The North won the war in 1967, and quickly prospered economically, contrasted with the south's quick spiral into economic downturn. The communist government of Coasa Limento, which had been in power since the end of the civil war, collapsed in 1979 due to structural issues within its administration and popular resistance, and Jamie Utana became the first democratically-elected president in 1980. Abel Nabadio became president in 2016 and began introducing positive civil reforms. In the current day, South Kandson ranks low in international measurements of freedom of the press and civil liberties, though its economy has diversified and become more stable.

North Kandson is a member of the CCA, CTO, and ACES. Though hostilities and insurgent activity remained constant throughout the 20th century, North and South Kandson signed a peace agreement in 2002 which subsided territorial disputes and ended the lasting fighting.
