The Space Exploration Society of Amalfi, known as SPESS (from Amalfitan Societas Principala Explorationis de Sideribus Spatioque), is the Amalfitan government agency responsible for the country's space programme. It is a signatory of the Kostarin Pact. The society, originally a civilian society of researchers and amateur enthusiasts, was instituted as a funded government agency in 1962 and gradually transformed into an active space programme.
