The Chairperson of the State Presidium of Auspicious Republic of Shangea (Shangean: 晓东吉祥共和国家常务委员会的主席; Xiǎodōng jíxiáng gònghéguó jiā chángwù wěiyuánhuì de zhǔxí) is the head of state of Shangea, as well as being the official chair of the State Presidium, the unicameral legislature of Shangea. The title is often called the State Chairman (主席; Zhǔxí) internationally, or more rarely President in some foreign language translations.

The State Chairman is the most important role in the Shangean government having broad power over executive, legislative and judicial decisions. The State Chairman serves as commander-in-chief of the Army of National Salvation, appoints the presidents of the four councils (Executive, Legislative, Judicial and Examination) and chairs the State Presidium. Since 1940, State Chairman has been appointed by the other members of the State Presidium or their predecessor with there being no set-term limit for the role. The exception was in 1970, when the State Chairman Sun Yuting came to power in a coup d'état. The role of State Chairman has historically fluctuated in important with at times it functioning as a de facto dictatorship and others being less powerful then the premier.

The current State Chairman is Yuan Xiannian who was appointed to the role in May 2005.
