Takesi Takahata (Senrian: 따까하따따꺼씨, Takahata Takesi; October 14, 1912 - October 26, 1979) was a Senrian military and political leader who served as the fourth Prime Minister of Senria between 1964 and 1979. Born to a poor family in Shioya, Takahata enrolled in Tokiyori National Military Academy upon the outbreak of the Senrian-Xiaodongese War, seeking to become a commissioned officer in the Senrian Republican Army. Takahata recieved a commission and rose through the ranks quickly during the course of the conflict, in which he fought on the front lines on the island of Kitasuu.

After the war, Takahata joined the People's Party and established himself as a supporter of Katurou Imahara; Takahata periodically clashed, however, with Imahara's successor Hatirou Nakayama. Takahata became a member of the Second Gang of Six, a group within the People's Party committed to expelling Nakayama; after the Second Gang of Six successfully expelled Nakayama, replacing him with Tokiyasu Kitamura, Takahata was named Minister of Defense. Takahata continued to serve as Minister of Defense until Kitamura's assassionation by Xiaodong in 1969.

After the assassination of Kitamura, Takahata was declared Prime Minister of Senria. He immediately tightened restrictions on political liberties that had been loosened by Kitamura, restricting the operations of dissident press outlets, opposition political parties, and political reform movements. Takahata cracked down particularly hard on the Communist Party of Senria and Liberationist Party of Senria, who he considered threats to the societal order of Senria that could potentially be exploited by Xiaodong or other potential adversaries, arresting large portions of their leadership and using the country's justice system to stymie communist and liberationist political activity. Takahata also expanded the Senrian military, especially in the wake of the Coastal Crisis and subsequent increase of tensions between Senria and Xiaodong.

Takahata was assassinated on October 26, 1979 by Sigemitu Kinosita, a Senrian communist angered by Takahata's repression of the Communist Party of Senria, while Takahata was touring factories in the town of Takashiro. Takahata was succeeded as Prime Minister by Kitirou Imahara, the adopted son of Katurou Imahara.
