The Tascard is the universal electronic ticketing system used for public transport in Gylias. Distributed as a reusable contactless smart card, it is accepted on all forms of public transport, operated by Gylian National Rail and Transportation Services and municipal and regional governments. These include buses, rail, metro, ferries, and domestic flights.

Preceded by several pilot experiments with electronic smartcards, the Tascard was launched in 1996, becoming Tyran's first contactless smart card system. The name comes from an abbreviation of "transport card".

Passengers touch the Tascard on an electronic reader when entering and leaving the transport system in order to validate it or deduct funds from the stored credit. Cards may be "topped-up" by online purchase, at credit card terminals, or by cash, the last two methods at stations or ticket offices. The card's technology is designed in accordance with the Law on Privacy Protection of 1993, to protect users' privacy.

The Tascard has won several awards for its innovative use of technology and success in encouraging public transport, and has inspired the creation of similar smart card systems in other Tyranian nations and cities.
