99% of the Jamilkhuzi/Sultanati population is partially or fully descended from climate refugees arriving on the country's shores between the late 21st and mid 22nd centuries. Thanks to well-maintained records of historical population changes in UN member states and comprehensive archives of immigrant primary accounts, the Bureau of Historical Demographics has been able to compile a summary of the relative timing and volume of arrivals from over 200 sovereign states and jurisdictions.

NOTE: This summary only describes the origins of climate refugees in terms of national and subnational political boundaries. [b]It is worth noting that refugees from a given country or jurisdiction may not be demographically representative of the citizens or inhabitants of that country or jurisdiction as a whole[/b]. Given the complex relationship between the concrete concepts of nationality and citizenship and the more abstract concepts of ethnicity, language, religion, and race, [i]the Bureau [b]strongly advises against[/b] using these findings as a direct proxy for the racial and/or ethnic composition of Jamilkhuze/Syfenq[/i]. [u]General Comments/tl;dr[/u]: -Almost all of the migration to Jamilkhuze came from Asia and Africa, with migration from the Indian subcontinent and the South China Sea littoral being particularly well-represented. -Relative intensity of migration from a given country is largely a function of the country's relative population size. The our-world 21st-century countries that have sent the most refugees to our shores have both large population sizes and high population densities. -Many of the countries listed above were former British and French colonies and have English and/or French as official/administrative languages. -Many of the countries listed above are majority Muslim, have significant Muslim minorities, or were historically strongly influenced by Islamic polities. -Many of the countries listed above are considered to be more vulnerable to the impacts of climate change due to geographic and socioeconomic factors. . . .
