Titania is the capital and largest city of the province of Titania, as well as the fourth-largest city in Zamastan, with a population of 6,545,000. A major logistic and economic center, Titania is one of Euronia's largest seaports, exiting into the Bay of Titania and the Cantalle Ocean. It is home to over 180 nationalities, making it one of the most diverse cities in the world. Titania is known for its university, ocean-side and mountain setting, lively cultural life, maritime heritage and modern architecture. Titania is one of the oldest continuously inhabited places in the world, with some experts calling it the cradle of Central Euronia's civilization.
Founded under the name of Titanossi on the Auleuria promontory around 660 BCE, the city grew in size and influence, becoming one of the most important cities in the region's history. Drambenburg kingdoms and the Mayottean confederations had significant impact on the city's growth and politics in the middle ages. The near-complete destruction of the city center in the World War has resulted in a varied architectural landscape, including sky-scrapers designed by famous architects. Considered a global city, it hosts the headquarters of many Zamastanian companies and media outlets and accounts for one-thirtieth, or three percent, of the country's gross domestic product. Over 12 million foreign visitors came to Titania in 2015, five years after it was named a Euronian Capital of Culture, making the city the world's fifth most popular tourist destination. Titania is host to multiple naval bases and is the home port for the ZMS Belisarius and ZMS Aebutius. The main airport serving the city is Sydney-Titania International Airport.
