Worldvision Song Contest 96 was the 96th edition of the Worldvision Song Contest. The host city was Valletta, Malta Comino Gozo and was presented by national broadcaster MCG1 in the FedEx Forum for the first time since 86. The winner was Monsieur Disbelief from Malta Comino Gozo, the country's fifth winner. Tödlichebujoku came second and Britonisea third. Ertzei Kishim finished fourth and Carrelie received their best result coming in fifth. Aenglide also achieved their best placing so far coming 7th. 34 countries competed in this edition.

There was commentary of the Worldvision Song Contest 96 from StrayaRoos' SBC, ÆTV (Aenglide)'s commentator Bengt Dolá, Polkopia's PNB, Talvezout's TRT, Elejamie's ETV and Illdonya's ÍGBA.

Notes
- Hanvaria was also due to compete in Worldvision, with singer Lawrence Iriba representing the country. Due to a discrepancy in his travel documents however, he was denied entry into Malta Comino Gozo, and was deported back to Hanvaria.
- This was Malta Comino Gozo's fifth win and first win on home soil.
- Ikslund was disqualified for not sending an entry without proper lyrics.
- Both StrayaRoos and StrayaRoos Barrier Islands were also considered for disqualification, but was allowed by the Worldvision Committee. StrayaRoos for a seemingly unfinished entry, and StrayaRoos Barrier Islands for an entry without "proper" lyrics.
- StrayaRoos Barrier Islands had not had their televote counted, as they had sent in suspicious televotes, which the Worldvision Committee took notice and removed.
