The Amycus was a light tank fielded by the Republic of Syara during the Siduri War.

Unlike its cousin the Centaurus, the Amycus was designed as a cavalry tank that would serve in the armored divisions of the Army of the Syaran Republic. Often utilized as a scout tank, the Amycus would frequently serve as the advance guard of armored formations, while also serving to help keep enemy infantry and combat engineers from damaging heavier Syaran armor. The Amycus was unpopular with its crews due to its poor mechanical reliability and difficult maintenance practices, magnified by Syara's heavy tanks consuming most Syaran mechanics and technicians. The Amycus was gradually withdraw from frontline service towards the end of the war due to its weaker armor and armarment.
