Dansk: Fotografiet sidder i et fotoalbum lavet af Sophie Petersen med titlen "Færøerne". Fotoalbummet har nummer F5, og indgår i Det Kongelige Danske Geografiske Selskabs arkiv som af resultat af samarbejde mellem Etnografisk Samling og selskabet siden 2010 har været opstillet på Nationalmuseet som et selvstændigt arkiv. Arkivet er administreret af Etnografisk Samling. Det Kongelige Danske Geografiske Selskab har eksisteret siden det blev grundlagt 18. november 1876. Dets formål var at medvirke til “så vel at fremme kendskabet til jorden og dens beboere som at udbrede interessen for den geografiske videnskab” I arkivet findes blandt andet breve, dagbøger, regnskaber, kort og foredragsmanuskripter. Derudover indeholder arkivet over 70.000 fotografier.
