Manuel Lucián de Lacasa y Campos (13 February 1765 – 1 March 1829), often referred to as Manuel Lacasa was an Aiyacan general, independence activist, revolutionary and military leader whose campaigns saw the colonial influence of Veleaz almost entirely neutered in Rennekka, directly leading much of its modern-day countries to independence throughout the early 19th century. He also served a thirty-year tenure as the first President of the Union of Aillaca-Rocia from 1797 to his death in 1829. Nicknamed El Libertador, Lacasa played a pivotal role in the early histories of many of Rennekka's post-colonial states.
