Raimund, Hereditary Lord of Hayan (Raimund Henry Konstantin Emmanuel; b. 28 April 1987) is the second child and heir apparent of Henry II, Lord of Hayan. He is best known for his former engagement to Queen Melisende III, and as the great-nephew of Jean de Scaliger, Grand Master of the Order of Saint Joseph.
Early life and education
Raimund was born on 28 April 1987, at Crac de l'Ospital in Hayan, to Emmanuelle Depasquale and Henry I, Lord of Hayan. He is the second eldest of nine children, and became Hereditary Lord of Hayan by virtue of being the first born son and heir apparent to his father. At the time of his birth he was also in the extended line of succession to the Sydalene throne by way of his great-grandmother, Princess Adrienne of Sydalon. He is the great-nephew of Jean de Scaliger, Grand Master of the Order of Saint Joseph.
After completing his training at Olympia, Henry attempted to join a commando force for the SDE. While he was unsuccessful in meeting the grueling requirements, he instead opted to become a career army officer and earned the rank of lieutenant. From 2012 until 2014, Henry served as aid-de-Camp to Rokku Abdosir, the SDE's liaison to the Order of Saint Joseph. In 2015, he was admitted as a member of the Order of Saint Joseph. He earned the rank of Lieutenant colonel by 2017.
On 20 September 2018, Raimund became engaged to Margerie of Gadir. They married in March 2019.
