The SMD-15 Jabal Sheikh (Arabic: جبل الشيخ, Eng: Mount Hermon) is a wire-guided anti-tank missile developed by Riysa, designed for short-medium ranged combat, and with top-attack capable. It is generally issued on the company level in Riysian forces.

Development

Description

The Jabal Sheikh is a wire-guided missile system, consisting of a launcher containing an integrated thermal sight, and two different types of missiles - the primary one with a tandem-charge HEAT warhead, and one with an anti-infantry/building thermobaric warhead. The standard anti-tank missile has the ability to fire in a top-attack mode, where it strikes the weak roof of an enemy armored vehicle. The launcher weighs 16 kilograms, and both missile types weigh around 9.2 kilograms. A single SMD-15 system in Riysian service is normally carried in two backpacks, one weighing 26 kilograms and containing the launcher and one missile, and one weighing 28.5 kilograms and containing three more missiles.
