Sventsa is a sovereign state located in Anteria, Thuadia. It borders the Njorish Sea to the north, Visargia to the east, Aramos to the west and Kistolia to the south. The capital of Sventsa is Sveista, which is also Sventsa's biggest tourist destination.

Geography

The physical geography of Sventsa is very similar throughout the country. Due to its location, it is rare for natural disasters to occur in Sventsa. Sventsa has access to both the Njorish Sea and the Norterric Sea, giving it the opportunity to utilize export and import of foreign goods through water connections.

Climate

The entire country is in a temperate climate. The average summer temperatures are 24 degrees Celsius and the average winter temperatures are 4 degrees Celsius.

As of 2022 the estimate for the total population is 23,542,201, an increase of around 3 percent over the 2019 figure. Between 2011 and 2019, Sventsa's population grew by 1.5 million people, with immigrants accounting for two-thirds of the increase. The main drivers of population growth are immigration and, to a lesser extent, natural growth.

Sventsa's population density sits at 57 inhabitants per square kilometre (148/sq mi), which is below average for the region. The population is distributed evenly across the country, with a slightly higher population towards the north. The most densely populated city is the capital Sveista which has a population density of 4,644 inhabitants per square kilometre (1,793/sq mi).

The official language of Sventsa is Sventsan with approximately 95% of all Sventsans being able to speak it fluently. Some of the most common non-official first languages include Common being spoken as a second language by about half of all Sventsans and Visargian, spoken by about 6% of the population.

Religion

Sventsa is, as opposed to other countries under Ilanea, very secularist with about 67.4% of the population not identifying under any religion. The biggest religion in Sventsa is the Ilanei religion. There is also a notable amount of Capitologists passed on from immigrants of Prybourne. There is a minority of Sobelians that mainly consists of Visargian immigrants.

Culture

Sports

Sventsa's official national sport is Association Football. Other sports such as ice hockey, volleyball, cycling, swimming and tennis are also widely enjoyed at the professional levels.

The most successful soccer teams include Sveista Bollaget, Torkaup F.C. and Trunjeld Vinnare. Internationally, Sventsa plays under the Sventsan National Football Team.
