Turania City (Ciudad de Turania) is the fourth-largest city in East Chanchajilla. Located in the north of the country, it is only 50 miles from the borders of Paraboca and West Chanchajilla and thus serves as a key crossroads and transport hub. It has a population of 2,183,000 people, but while surrounding areas had indigenous populations for thousands of years, the Turania valley was not populated until the 15th century, as in the pre-kingdom period this area was primarily used for the "flower wars" between a number of populations. Due to its history and architectural styles, the city is well known for its tourism. The city is also famous for mole poblano, chiles en nogada and Talavera pottery. However, most of its economy is based on industry. In 2021, the city was subjected to extensive rocket attacks from West Chanchajilla which killed 542 people and injured thousands in the prelude to the 2021 Chanchajilla War.
