==Personal life==

Hussein is the first Muslim and Arab to hold the positions of chief of the Air Staff, chief of the General Staff, director of Military Intelligence, and secretary of state. Commenting on his role upon being appointed as West Aurelia's top diplomat in 2016, he said, "being a Muslim who has been at the forefront of West Aurelia's fight against radical Islam for so long means a lot - not just to my family and I, but to victims of Islamophobia who tell me that they can look up to me. It is deeply humbling and a role I do not take on lightly."
