The 15th Winter Olympics were an international multi-sport event celebrated in Clayquot. This was the second Winter Olympics hosted by Kelssek and marked the fourth time the country has hosted the Olympic Games overall.

The Games logo features the aurora borealis around a simplified profile of Parracuttis, the extinct cone volcano which is the most prominent peak of the Memorable Mountains and a landmark of the Clayquot region.

Clayquot's bid won the vote for hosting rights unopposed. The vote was held according to the process specified by the Olympic Charter.

Opening ceremony

  • The opening ceremony's artistic performance focused on environmentalist themes, and featured a starring role for the dragon said to live inside Paracuttis. The crowd then saw retired women's ice hockey captain Briana Meekinson light the Olympic cauldron. The torch was carried into the stadium by Marie-Anne Boucher, mother of the late Jean-Luc Lacroix, and handed to retired alpine skier Evan Mackay, who then passed it Meekinson.
  • The Games were declared open by Ronán Garrity, Federal President of Kelssek

Day 1

  • Skating Liventia criticized the format of the figure skating team event, claiming that it unduly penalized weak performances in particular segments.
  • Lance Coppeler (Nurkama) won gold in the short track men's 1500m, marking his country's first Olympic medal.
  • West Phoenicia's hopes of repeating its figure skating team gold fell away with mistakes in the pairs portion of the event.
  • Saint-Domingues won its first Olympic medal thanks to Margot Hardanger's gold in the women's speed skating 3000m.
