Border-17 is a large border crossing between the French Unitary Republic and the Federation of Russian People. It is also rated the most dangerous place in the FRP. Many deaths are reported daily, citizen and soldier, either in the small prison that the checkpoint holds or simply being shot. The two sides of the border have small towns on each side of the crossing, however, both of them are under Millitisya control.

The French and Russian governments agreed that Russian forces may control and patrol the borders between the two nations. The Millitisya patrol near the entrance and exit of the crossing, the CFRPSS's Armed Operatives patrol areas that have no crossings, and currently the 164th Border Control Unit operate the Border-17 checkpoint.

Solovesk & Olobrisk

Solovesk and Olobrisk are the two small towns on both sides of Border-17. Solovesk is the town on the French side of the checkpoint, it has a small population of 1,281 but makes a lot of money for the French government.

The town is a small border town which has a large community and has many gift shops and over 1 million tourists visiting every year. Olobrisk is the larger town between the two, it is on the Russian side, it has a population of 5,183, however most of the population is the staff at the crossing and their families.

The town isnt a place to stop, it's more as a place for the workers to live, there are still a few hotels and gift shops around, but thats mainly it.
