Chaowentian, formally the Soviet Communist Republic of Chaowentian is a country located in East Asia and independent from the People's Republic of China since the end of the Chinese Civil War.
Etymology
Chaowentian is a pormanteau of the Mandarin word Wēnnuǎn cháoshī de xiàtiān that all together means warm humid summers and the name was elected by the natives in reference of the all year long weather of the island.
Climate
Chaowentian climate features a tropical monsoon climate with important rainfall all year round and warm temperatures. On average, it rains around 230 days a year, mostly during summertime (called monsoon) starting on late April and finishing in mid-October. The mean temperature is 30.5 °C (86.9 °F) but it always feels hotter than it really is because of the high humidity.
