How Admirable is Thy Name in the Whole Earth (Tengarian Колко е превъзходно Твоето име по цялата земя) is the National Anthem of Tengaria. It was first written as a hymn in 1769 by the composer Radomir Ervo to the words of the 8th Psalm. It was composed by Ervo in honor of Vasil III's coronation in 1769, becoming the unofficial anthem of the Empire of Tengaria and used consistently in coronations and Imperial events. It remained as the anthem until the adoption of God Save the Emperor in 1832. However, it still continued to be used in coronations until the Empire was overthrown in 1930, with Dragomir III being the last Emperor to have it as its coronation. Throughout this time, it was frequently used and promoted as a patriotic song, and was a popular song of the Tengarian Resistance during the Great War. After the Great War, the Republic first adopted the pro-republican anthem Hail the Republic in 1941, but How Admirable continued to be popular, and was frequently used by monarchist or conservative groups, as well as the Tengarian National Army, many of whom had fought in the Tengarian resistance. During the Tengarian Civil War, the song became the widely used within the Loyalist faction. After Kovachev took power in 1958 in the aftermath of the civil war, he officially established it as the National Anthem of Tengaria, which it has remained as ever since.

Lyrics

Original Tengarian Literal Translation
O Lord our Lord, how admirable is thy name in the whole earth!
For thy magnificence is elevated above the heavens.
Out of the mouth of infants and of sucklings thou hast perfected praise because of thy enemies,
That thou mayst destroy the enemy and the avenger.

When I behold thy heavens, the works of thy fingers,
The moon, and the stars which thou hast ordained,
What is man that thou art mindful of him?
Or a son of man to visit him?

Thou hast made him a little less than the angels,
И със слава и чест си го увенчал. thou hast crowned him with glory and honour.
Поставил си го господар над делата на ръцете Си; Thou hast made him lord over the works of thy hands;
Thou hast subjected all things under his feet.

All the sheep and cattle, and the beasts of the field,
The birds of the air, and the fishes of the sea,
That pass through the paths of the sea.
O Lord our Lord, how admirable is thy name in all the earth!
