The Imperial Federation (Imperial Standard: 𐐆𐑋𐐹𐐨𐑉𐐨𐐲𐑊 𐑁𐐯𐐼𐐲𐑉𐐩𐑇𐐲𐑌) is a sovereign country that is located primarily within the Hyporian Sector. The Imperial Federation also has territories within the Malvidian Sector and the Lesphagian Sector. The Imperial Confederation's central government is housed on the artificial planet of Avestion, with much of the central government being centered within the district of Capitol Heights within Avestion. There are six member states that are apart of the Federation: Canideria, Canidium, Domaria, Margonia, Darsaan, and Zaryanthia. There are also six observatory member states that are controlled in a confederal manner: Qel, Kiridus, Ardomachia, Sormidia, Tiluga, and Viedma. The Imperial Confederation borders the Akannite Federation in the Malvidian Sector and Huajiang in the Lesphagian Sector.

The Imperial Federation begins with the signing of the Declaration of Federacy between the then states of Canideria and Canidium after the colonization of the planet of Birospa. The Canidiums, while still Caniderians biologically, Caniderian and Canidium culture gradually grew apart.
