Meguén, officially Ciudad de Meguén, abbreviated as MGN, is a city in East Chanchajilla located along the southern stretch region with a coast on Lake Louise. It is the 9th most populous city in the country, with around 522,000 people in the city limits. It is known worldwide for its temperate weather and famous boardwalk district, on which attractions along the beach are popular tourist destinations.
In 2021, it was the site of a terrorist attack that killed 76 people and injured hundreds, perpetrated by agents affiliated with West Chanchajillan dictator Frederick Armbar.
