The Royal Cabinet (王室内閣, Ōshitsu Naikaku), also known as the Imperial Cabinet (帝国内閣, Teikoku Naikaku), is one of two chief executive bodies of the government of Hoterallia, in charge of state matters concerning the Imperial Family. The Cabinet traces its origin to both the former Imperial Court and the Ministry of the Imperial Court.
The Cabinet is unique among conventional government agencies and ministries, in that it does not directly report to the Head of Ministries at the cabinet level, nor is it affected by legislation and the National Diet. The Cabinet remains a separate legislative power, working for the Emperor, and is voted by other members in the Cabinet instead of voted by the people.
Members
All members of the Royal Cabinet are notable statesmen in Hoterallian politics, the members' positions range from former Head of Ministries to famed economists that were honored by the government.
